1. day:

Meeting at Tbilisi airport, transfer and hotel accommodation. Further acquaintance with the sights of Tbilisi. We will see the Metekhi Cathedral, a walk around the sulfur baths area, “Abanotubani”. We will go to the Sioni temple and then visit one of the oldest churches in Tbilisi “Anchiskhati”. We will walk along the bridge of Peace and on the lifts we will go up through the old city to the Narikala fortress. Free time. Overnight in Tbilisi.

2. day:

Breakfast at the hotel. The Georgian Military Road is a medieval Ananuri fortress with stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Zhinvali reservoir, which keeps real treasures under its thickness! The confluence of the Black and White Aragvi near the mountain village of Pasanauri, where they cook delicious khinkali. The road will rise higher and higher, past meadows with grazing herds of sheep. We will stop at the monumental Arch of Friendship of Peoples with a mosaic fresco and a view of the Devil’s Valley. The culmination of the journey is, of course, one of the highest mountains, the giant Kazbek. It will open to you in the mountain settlement of Stepantsminda, from where you will go up in jeeps to the Gergeti Trinity Church. It impresses with its location under the clouds and harmony with mountain landscapes. 3. day:

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Kakheti region, We will visit the city of love Sighnaghi and walk along the charming streets of the city, as well as admire the most beautiful views of the Alazani Valley, you will see the longest fortress wall in Europe. Then you will go to the Bodbe Monastery, where the great Georgian saint Nino rests.

Further, our journey will take place in the city of Kvareli, where we will visit the oldest winery “Kindzmarauri”, where we will have a tasting of Georgian wines and see the cellars of the plant. After seeing the factory, we will head to the Nekresi monastery complex – a unique place for several reasons at once. First, it was from here that Christianity began to spread throughout Georgia. Secondly, the oldest church in the country is located in Nekresi. And thirdly, from the top of the mountain on which the monastery stands, a stunning view of the Alazani Valley opens up. Once the monastery was home to more than 2,000 monks and was a fairly large city. Only a few buildings have survived to this day, but each of them is a real treasure that is definitely worth seeing when traveling around Kakheti. We return through the Gombori Pass. Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel. Release of rooms. You will visit the Jvari Monastery, the first monument in Georgia included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. From the walls of the monastery, you will enjoy stunningly beautiful panoramic views of the surroundings. Then we will go to the Svetitskhoveli Church – the Cathedral Patriarchal Church of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Here is the burial place of the shrines of Christianity – the tunic of Jesus Christ, and also rests part of the relics of St. Andrew the First-Called. After that, you will walk to the temple of Samtavro, where the grave of the first Georgian Christian king Mirian and his wife, Queen Nana, is located, as well as the relics of the holy elder Gabriel of Samtavria. Next, we will visit the Mystical Shiomgvime, we will stop near an amazingly beautiful monastery with a rich history. This very significant monument of Georgian architecture of the early Middle Ages was founded in the middle of the 6th century, and its appearance is associated with the “Assyrian father” Shio, one of the thirteen Christian missionaries who arrived in Georgia. After seeing these holy places, we will go to the rock architecture of the “God’s Fortress” – the cave city of Uplistsikhe. This is one of the first cities in Georgia. You will visit the most ancient part of it, carved into the Kvernaki rock.

During its heyday, Uplistsikhe included more than 700 caves and cave structures, of which only 150 have survived to this day. However, these surviving buildings are enough to recreate the picture of the architectural formation of this amazing monument, which has existed for more than one millennium. On the tour you will find an exciting exploration of the complex chain of tunnels, squares, living rooms and halls, temples, storehouses and outbuildings, as well as the history, myths and legends of this settlement. After seeing Uplistsikhe we will go to the resort town of Borjomi, check into a hotel, in the evening we will visit the historical park of Borjomi and try the healing water straight from the source. 5. day:

In the morning we drive out to the famous Rabat fortress located in the city of Akhaltsikhe, where fierce liberation battles of the Georgian-Russian troops against the Meskhetian Turks were once fought, the Rabat fortress awaits you in all its glory. This place is not only historical, but also very picturesque. On the way to Vardzia, we will try to climb the severe Khertvisi fortress – the ancient keeper of peace and tranquility of the gorges of the Paravani and Kura rivers. Rumor has it that the army of Alexander the Great saw its walls! After storming the Khertvisi fortress, we find ourselves in the ancient cave city of Vardzia. The ancient complex of Vardzia is not just rooms carved into the rock, this cave fortress is a monastery built near Tbilisi in the 12th century. The extraordinary city has 13 levels and more than 500 rooms: churches, chapels, residential cells, storerooms, baths, refectories, treasuries, libraries. The rooms go 50 meters deep and rise to a height of eight floors, in addition, secret passages have been preserved that connected the premises, the remains of the water supply and irrigation system. 6. day:

The reserve was opened more than 80 years ago, but in recent years it has been actively creating all the necessary conditions and amenities for tourists to visit. The extraordinarily beautiful karst cave of Sataplia is one of the most visited caves in Georgia. Then visit the Martvili Canyon. Martvili Canyon has become extremely popular among tourists over the past couple of years. Interest in this area is caused by a charming kilometer-long canyon with rivers, waterfalls and beautiful views of nature. According to official data, traces of the habitation of primitive man and prehistoric animals that lived on earth 73 million years ago, as well as the preserved traces of dinosaurs and their fossilized skeletons, were found here. Having examined the canyon, we go to Batumi. Overnight in Batumi.

7. day:

Breakfast at the hotel. The first thing we will visit on the way from the beauties of Adjara is the Botanical Garden. We will visit the Argonauts Square with the statue of Medea. Next, we will go to the fortress of Gonio – Apsar, and stop at the border town of Sarpi (border of Grisia and Turkey). We will return to Batumi.

In the evening we will walk along the famous Batumi embankment (one of the longest embankments in the world) and see a laser show, a giant metal love. Free time. Overnight in Batumi.

8. day:

Breakfast at the Hotel. Sightseeing tour of mountainous Adjara.
