Ski resort Bakuriani

Located at an altitude of 1700 m, the winter climatic resort of Bakuriani is located at the foot of the stunningly beautiful Caucasus Mountains, a three-hour drive from Tbilisi. Guests of Bakuriani can enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding and skating, or simply take long walks through beautiful snowy forests.

A popular place in the resort is Kokhta peak (2255 m) – a four-kilometer track with trails of medium and difficult levels. This is the very first skiing area in all of Bakuriani.

Pot Didveli

The Didveli track runs along the slope of Mount Sakvelo, from where amazing views open up. You can take a gondola up the slope of Sakvelo and go down from there along the blue or red trail. The length of the longest is about 4 kilometers. Experienced skiers can climb further by reseeding in a chair lift, almost to the very top of Mount Sakvelo. From there you can make an extreme descent along steep and difficult – red and black slopes.

Slopes of Mitarbi

Slopes of Mitarbi (1500 m). Winter sports enthusiasts can take advantage of 3 new ski lifts and 9 km of pistes suitable for intermediate skiers. These trails connect with the Kokht trails. The cross-country trails attract both experts and beginners. The two most difficult trails start at the peaks of Kokhta and Didveli. If skiing and snowboarding are not your favorite activities, you can take a walk in Bakuriani Park or go ice skating. The mountains and valleys where the resort is located are ideal for snowmobiling. You can also rent a sleigh or even a horse team.

Guide services and equipment rentals are available from numerous hotels and shops.
