2. day:
Departure to Kakheti. Tour of the city of love Sighnaghi, see the remains of the temple of St. Stephen. Then a visit to the wine cellar, tasting of various varieties of wine and Georgian vodka – chacha. Then visit Bodbe Nunnery. Optional: On the way, stop in the village of Velistsikhe, where you will have the opportunity to taste wine directly from Qvevri, have lunch and take part in the preparation of Churchkhela and Bread. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight at the hotel.
3. day:
Breakfast in the hotel. Inspection of the ethnographic open-air museum of Tbilisi. Further departure to the Western part of Georgia Mtskheta. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Jvari Monastery. Here, in Mtskheta, we will visit a Georgian peasant family and their home wine cellar, where we will have a tasting of Georgian wines and chacha + Georgian cuisine lessons + lunch. Arrival in Tbilisi. Free time. Optional: Dinner at a national restaurant with a show program. Overnight at the hotel.
4 day:
Breakfast at the hotel. Release of rooms. Transfer to the Armenian border, Sadakhlo (no guide). Pedestrian crossing of the border, change of transport. On the way to Yerevan visit Lake Sevan and Sevanavank Monastery. Arrival in the capital of Armenia, accommodation at the hotel. Night in Yerevan.
5 day:
Breakfast in the hotel. City tour of the city: Tsitsernakaberd – Armenian Genocide Museum, Republic Square, Charles Aznavour’s house, Parajanov’s house-museum. Next, we will visit the Ararat brandy factory, brandy tasting. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Night in Yerevan.
6. day:
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for an excursion to Etchmiadzin, Garni, Geghard. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.
7 day:
Breakfast in the hotel. We leave the capital and head to the church complex Khor Virap, then we will go to the village of Areni. Our further path lies to one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia – Noravank. Return to Yerevan. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
8 day:
Breakfast in the hotel. Release of rooms.
Airport transfer.
Happy homecoming.
